Well is a uniquely friendly place, with lots of great
places to venture. Let's
begin with Patton's Valley; a large and relatively open
dune, where you can test your skills as well as watch others
test their skills and their cars, racing up the face. Then
There's Test Hill. A hotspot both during the day and at
night. The sand drags go off every weekend evening, with
the largest usually on saturdays. You camp at Dune Buggy
Flats, a large semi-hardpack area, where the room is plentiful
most days and the action ranges to a quiet bon fire type
setting to fireworks and loud music and crazy fun at th
big night weekends. The fees are $25 for a weekend
and $90 for the season. I would suggest getting
the $90 pass if you plan on going more than 3 times.
